CD Davies, Chief Executive Officer
CD Davies was appointed chief executive officer of QBE FIRST in April 2012. He joins the company from Capital One where he served as president of Capital One Home Loans. There, he was responsible for creating and managing an industry-leading mortgage and home equity division while managing a multi-billion dollar servicing and asset portfolio. Drawing from more than 20 years of executive and financial management experience, CD significantly expanded Capital One’s presence in the mortgage industry. His achievements include leading the acquisition of ING DIRECT and the successful integration of Chevy Chase Bank. CD’s distinguished career includes several executive leadership roles at LendingTree and Wachovia Mortgage Corporation. CD is a graduate of Clemson University and serves as an Executive Board member of the university’s business school.John Anderson, Sales and Relationship Management
John Anderson joined this company in 2010 and is responsible for the company’s national sales team with additional oversight of its marketing and communications, market research and public relations initiatives.
Prior to joining QBE FIRST, John spent 13 years working at Clayton Services a mortgage due diligence/specialty servicing company. As a senior executive at Clayton, his responsibilities included Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel of Clayton National and President of Quantum Servicing, both special servicing subsidiaries of Clayton.
John holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of Connecticut and a Juris Doctorate from Quinnipiac University. He was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in November 1988 and to the Federal Court in October 1993.

Frank Dunn, Hazard Executive
Frank Dunn serves as the Hazard executive, responsible for QBE FIRST’s lender-placed property programs. In this position Frank is responsible for product management, tracking operations and customer care operations associated with our lender-placed hazard, flood, wind and related services including lender-placed tracking and loss draft services.
Before joining QBE FIRST, Frank served as an executive for the Financial Institution division for Balboa Insurance Group’s (a division of Bank of America) industry-leading lender-placed mortgage and auto programs. Frank was the President of Balboa’s Financial Institutions division where he was responsible for product management, tracking operations, customer care, sales and marketing and compliance. Frank has also served in other senior management roles including Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary, where he was responsible for overseeing the legal, corporate governance, and regulatory affairs areas of the group for both underwriting and agency operations. In addition he served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Insurance Services Group.
Prior to those roles, Frank was a partner in the Los Angeles offices of Lord, Bissell & Brook, LLP, where he worked principally on corporate and insurance-related transactional and regulatory matters. Frank has more than 24 years of experience in the insurance industry.
Frank received a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and business administration from the University of Southern California where he graduated with honors. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. Frank is a member of the California Bar Association and has served on numerous insurance industry advisory committees.

Matthew Freeman, Mortgage Lender Services Executive
Matthew Freeman is QBE FIRST's Mortgage Lender Services Executive. He is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the business line and executing its unique strategy of providing both lender-placed hazard insurance and tax outsourcing services to the mortgage servicing marketplace. Since Matt joined the QBE FIRST executive leadership team in 2008, the business line has continued its industry-leading position in compliance, quality and innovation with key accomplishments that include ISO 2001:2008 certifications, Call Center of Excellence certifications, and expansions to its technology platforms.
Prior to QBE FIRST, Matt’s career has included roles in strategy, corporate development and finance. Most recently, he was Vice President, Corporate Strategy for CareMedic Systems where he focused on long-term strategic growth initiatives. Prior to that, he was a Vice President with Deloitte & Touche Corporate Finance and worked with the Andersen Corporate Finance team.
Matt holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California at Los Angeles and an MBA from the Goizueta Business School of Emory University, where he was a Dean’s Scholar.
John Flynn, Consumer/Affiliated Agencies
John Flynn brings more than 30 years of insurance industry experience, and also continues in the capacity of President and CEO of Westwood Insurance Agency. John oversees the company's homeowners, auto, renters and Medicare Marketplace programs, in addition to other products distributed through financial institutions. John is also responsible for the turnkey and direct agency distribution channels, as well as product and underwriting operations.
Before joining QBE FIRST, John spent 21 years with Westwood Insurance Agency where he began as vice president of marketing and moved up through the organization to President and CEO in 1995.
John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin.
Kevin Grebe, Strategy and Corporate Development
Kevin Grebe has been with this company since 2009 and was instrumental in the company’s acquisitions of Seattle Specialty Insurance Services, Inc. and the Balboa Insurance Group assets. In addition to acquisition opportunities, Kevin also leads the company’s strategic growth opportunity assessment initiatives.
Prior to joining QBE FIRST, Kevin served as director of investments for Harbert Management Corporation in the Private Equity group. Before that, he was a senior manager in KPMG’s transaction services group.
Kevin holds a Masters of Accountancy from the University of Georgia and a Bachelor of Science in business administration degree from Appalachian State University. Kevin is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).
Michael Hersh, Auto Lender Services
Michael Hersh is responsible for the auto collateral protection and guaranteed asset protection businesses. He has been with this company since 1999. Prior to his current role, Mike led the consumer marketing business unit, which included homeowners insurance sold through homebuilders and financial institutions, renters insurance sold through financial institutions and property management companies, our Medicare MarketPlace business, and our call center.
Before joining QBE FIRST, Mike served as Senior Vice President of Marketing, Product Development and Sales for a unit of GE Capital that involved insuring, selling and servicing extended warranties and credit insurance.
Mike holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Colorado in Boulder and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Los Angeles. 
Robert T. Johnson, Chief Claims Officer
Robert Johnson is Chief Claims Officer for QBE FIRST and is responsible for overseeing claims. In this role, he is the strategic leader of the claims organization, and ensures adherence to company policies and procedures for claims handling and the proper servicing and settlement of all claims. He was formerly with Balboa Insurance Group as the Senior Claims Executive leading the Claims Department. He previously held the title of Senior Claims Counsel leading the Claims Legal Team with coverage and litigation matters, as well as claims, regulatory and compliance issues.
Previously, Robb worked in private legal practice representing insurance companies in coverage matters and litigation. He has more than 20 years of experience with insurance industry issues.
Robb earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Humboldt State University and his Juris Doctorate degree from California Western School of Law. He is a licensed attorney in California and Maine, and is a member of the Defense Research Institute. Carla T. LaMorta, Chief Information Officer
Carla T. LaMorta joined this company in 1997. She oversees the company’s strategic business/technology planning and deployment of innovative outsourcing and voluntary product solutions for clients in the mortgage, financial and homebuilding industries.
Over the last 14 years with QBE FIRST, Carla has lead the Enterprise System Shared Services, which includes Project Management and Business Analysis teams.
With more than 30 years of experience in the information technology field, Carla held various senior management technology positions at Dun and Bradstreet Software, Turner Broadcasting, Coca-Cola Enterprises and Contel/GTE/Verizon Corporation.
Carla LaMorta holds a Bachelor of Science cum laude from Florida State University. She is a member of the Georgia CIO Leadership Association, Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), and other professional technology associations in Georgia.
Art Lee, Senior Legal Counsel
Art Lee serves as Senior Legal Counsel for QBE FIRST. He and his team provide legal/regulatory support for the Mortgage Services business segment.
Prior to joining QBE FIRST, Art was with Balboa Insurance Group for eight years and served in a number of legal roles, including its General Counsel. Prior to that, he served in legal and product management functions at the insurance division for AAA of Southern California where he supported the personal lines insurance programs.
Art received a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in political science from UCLA. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles and is a member of the California Bar Association.
Richard E. Pedack, Small and Mid-Sized Institution Services
Rick Pedack leads Seattle Specialty Insurance Services, which is focused on serving the small and mid-sized financial institution markets.
Prior to forming Seattle Specialty in 1992, Rick developed the Lender Based Fire & Flood Insurance programs for the Minnehoma Insurance Company. Early in his career, he served as an officer of First Interstate Bank of Washington's Retail Banking Division.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Central Washington University. Rick is a licensed insurance agent/broker in all states and an active member of several trade organizations, including Mortgage Bankers Association, Independent Insurance Agents of America, Professional Insurance Agents, Washington Surplus Lines Association and Affiliated Financial Insurance Brokers. Rick also serves as Chairman of the Board for Mountain Pacific Bank.

SiSi Pouraghabagher, Chief Administrative Officer
SiSi Pouraghabagher is responsible for risk and compliance management, quality control, operational analysis and reporting, loss mitigation services, business process design and improvement, project management, business strategy and governance, integration management, and facilities across all QBE FIRST locations.
SiSi’s professional management experience spans nearly 20 years, with her most recent role being the Chief Operating Officer for Balboa Insurance Group where she also held CFO and financial management positions. Her prior experience includes working with a variety of technology corporations in Southern California, including Xavor Corporation and Wellspring Solutions. SiSi began her career in the Audit Service practice of Deloitte Orange County, with a focus on financial institutions and manufacturing clients.
SiSi holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from California Polytechnic San Luis Obispo, graduating magna cum laude, with double majors in finance and accounting. Additionally, she holds a CPA license (inactive).
Robert Shekell, Industry Relations
Robert Shekell has held many operational management roles in the company’s hazard, tax, and call center units since joining this company in 1998. Today, Robert is responsible for QBE FIRST's active participation in industry endeavors relating to Regulatory and Government Associations and strategic industry initiatives.
Over a career spanning more than two decades, Robert has held management roles in Corporate Training, Escrow Administration, Default Management and Trustee Services. Prior to joining QBE FIRST, Robert was Loan Service Vice President for 13 years at Home Savings of America, FSB.
Robert holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University with dual majors in employment relations and economics. He is also a graduate of the Institute of Financial Education Mortgage Loan Origination and Servicing.

Delmar Kim Summy, CFO
Kim Summy is CFO for QBE FIRST. He has been with the company since 2000 and is responsible for all financial and accounting functions.
Kim has more than 28 years of experience in the insurance industry, including a variety of audit and accounting leadership roles. Before joining QBE FIRST, Kim served as Senior Vice President and Controller with Odyssey Reinsurance, one of the top 10 U.S. Reinsurers. As part of his duties, Kim was responsible for Finance, Treasury, Reinsurance Accounting and Planning for this $600 million broker market reinsurer with expanding operations in the London and South American markets.
Prior to TIG Re, Kim was Vice President and Controller of Chartwell Reinsurance, serving as the principal accounting officer during their SEC filing for a $75 million public debt offering. Kim was responsible for all GAAP and Statutory reporting for the company as well as reinsurance accounting.
Kim holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Administration from Iowa State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and a Certified Managerial Accountant.
John Tomko, Real Estate Tax Services
John Tomko is responsible for leading the company’s groundbreaking innovations in property tax services. John brings more than 25 years of mortgage banking industry experience to set the strategic direction and development of QBE FIRST's tax services for originators and servicers nationwide. John also applies his experience in managing scalable, browser-based platforms to continue the development of the FIRST Property Tax System.
Prior to joining QBE FIRST, John was Senior Vice President at Bank of America where he designed and successfully launched iOriginate, a new loan origination system, to more than 10,000 users.
John holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English cum laude from Case Western Reserve University.
